FINAL YEAR ENGINEERING PROJECT ON Automated ambulance gate is a very useful device for the hospitals etc. This device uses infrared technology. Today infrared rays are used in many applications like infrared Communication, infrared remote control, and temperature measurement using infrared rays; infrared rays based pain killer etc.
But in this project we are concentrating on how to use the infrared rays to activate the gate and also how to encode and decode the infrared rays. The ambulance will have a device, which will be sending the encoded infrared rays continuously. On the other end the gate will have a device with the infrared decoder and the gate opening and closing mechanism controlled
by the micro controller. The ambulance can transmit the infrared ray to a distance of 10 to 15 feet.
