This project will help the formers in irrigation for proper water supply to the plants in right proportion by sensing the moisture level in the soil.
Here we are using a moisture sensor, which is connected to the micro controller and there is a seven segment display to display the moisture level. The moisture senor rods are immersed in the ground. ADC (analog to digital converter) is interfaced with the moisture rod; this ADC produces respective analog values for the values transmitted by moisture sensor. The microcontroller is programmed in such a way that voltage flow from the ADC is calibrated for the moisture level and displayed on the 7 segment display. When there is more moisture in the soil the voltage from adc is more since the current conductivity in moisture sensor is more and when the moisture level is less the
voltage from ADC is less because the current conductivity in moisture sensor is less.
