Car AC control using CAN protocol

The main aim of the project is to control the AC depending on the window status and the fuel level in the car by using CAN protocol .

In this project we are using 2 CAN IC or even 3 Can IC also can be used depending on the application. These are connected to the CAN transceiver as shown in the block diagram below. The LCD, Window switch buttons and the AC main switch are connected to the NODE 1 of the network. The AC and the Fuel level sensor are connected to the NODE 2 of the network. In general, we know that the AC in the car is effective only when we close all the four windows of the car and we also know that AC consumes fuel. So this project is designed and developed to rectify such problems. The function of NODE 1 controller is to check the status of the AC main switch, window switch buttons and the fuel level in the car. If the main switch of the AC is ON, all the 4 windows of the car are closed and the fuel level is above the limit only then the AC which is connected to the NODE 2 goes ON else it is OFF and simultaneously the status of the AC, Fuel level and the windows is displayed on the LCD.
